Why this tool is useful
Motion blur in displays occurs when individual pixels cannot transition between colors fast enough during fast-moving content, causing trailing edges and ghosting artifacts behind moving objects. This is measured by the pixel response time specification of your display. This test renders high-contrast moving patterns that make pixel transition speed clearly visible. Gaming monitors with 1ms or 5ms response times will show minimal trailing, while monitors designed for productivity or creative work may show more blur on fast-moving content.
