Why this tool is useful
Ivory (#FFFFF0) is a warm very pale yellow-white that tests your display ability to render subtle warm tints in near-white zones. Artists and photographers working with traditional media often need to preview how warm paper tones will appear when scanned and displayed digitally. If ivory appears completely white on your monitor, your display is compressing near-white warm tones and subtle warm-white details will be lost in your digital workflow.
